Girls Clubs
Our Girls Clubs are designed for out-of-school girls and young women aged 13 to 25, many of whom have dropped out due to early pregnancy, poverty, or early marriage. These girls are either at home or already raising children, often without adequate support or opportunities.
The clubs serve as registered youth self-help groups, offering a second chance for the girls to rebuild their lives. Through these clubs, we:
Provide life skills education to strengthen their decision-making, confidence, and goal setting.
Offer seed grants to support small business startups, enabling members to earn an income and become financially independent.
Facilitate peer support and mentorship, creating a safe space for the girls to share experiences and build resilience.
Many of the girls in our clubs are young mothers. To support them, we link these clubs to our community childcare centers and ECDE efforts, ensuring their children also have a strong foundation for education and care while their mothers work or attend training.
